Gram Negative Diplococci
Gram negative diplococci extracellular and intracellular in neutrophils. If the smear was taken from urethral discharge, it strongly suggestive of Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Gram stain shows multiple gram-negative diplococci within polymorphonuclear leukocytes as well as in the extracellular areas of a smear from urethral discharge
